Nickle Alloy Flange, also known as a flange rim or flange, is a part that connects pipes to each other at the ends, and it is also used on equipment inlets and outlets for connecting two pieces of equipment, such as a reducer flange. A flange connection or flange joint refers to a detachable connection consisting of a flange, gasket, and bolt, which together form a combined sealing structure.

Welding Quality:

Many customers question whether the quality of welded steel plate flanges is superior to that of forged welded flanges. In reality, the quality of welded steel plate flanges is equivalent to that of forged welded flanges. However, what aspects of welded steel plate flanges cannot be guaranteed? That is, the material of welded steel plate flanges is the least secure, as during the general production process, the density of welded steel plate flanges is not an issue. But during the production process, the blanks of welded steel plate flanges are rarely inspected. Types of Flat Welding Flange:

• Plate Welding Flange (PL): The plate welding flange is suitable for steel pipe connections with a nominal pressure not exceeding 2.5 MPa. The sealing surface of the plate welding flange can be made in three types: smooth, concave-convex, and tenon groove. The smooth plate welding flange is the most widely used due to its versatility. It is commonly employed in situations where the medium conditions are relatively mild, such as low-pressure non-purified compressed air and low-pressure circulating water.
• Socket Welding Flange (SO): The socket welding flange (SO) has a lower neck height, which enhances the stiffness and load-bearing capacity of the flange. Compared to welding neck flanges, the socket welding flange requires more welding work and consumes more welding rods. It is not suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure, or applications that involve repeated bending and temperature fluctuations. However, the socket welding flange is more popular due to its ease of on-site installation, which eliminates the need for the weld bead beating process.
